Cajun Shrimp and Sausage Skillet Recipe

Ingredients:

• 2 tbsp. olive oil

• 1 (14 oz.) package Zatarain’s Cajun Style 100% Pork Smoked Sausage, sliced

• 3 cloves garlic, minced

• 1 red bell pepper, sliced

• 1 yellow bell pepper, sliced

• 1 onion, sliced

• 1 pound large (31-40 ct.) shrimp, peeled and deveined

• 1⁄2 tbsp. Cajun seasoning

• 2 cups White Rice, prepared according to package

• 2 green onions, sliced


Directions:

• 1 Add oil to a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add sausage and cook until lightly browned.


• 2 Once meat is browned, add garlic and cook until fragrant.


• 3 Add bell peppers and onion. Cook until softened. Add shrimp and cook until pink.


• 4 Season with Cajun seasoning and toss to coat.


• 5 Serve over rice and top with green onion. Refrigerate leftovers.
